About Mark

Hi, I'm Mark Savant.

I went from dishwasher to delivery driver to HVAC tech to media entrepreneur. Every move forward meant learning new skills and adapting to a changing world. AI is the next move, and the playbook is the same.

Today I run AI Update: this newsletter, plus the AI Update podcast (formerly After Hours Entrepreneur), with more than 500 episodes of conversations with founders, operators, and experts. I also cover AI, jobs, and how to adapt on my Mark Savant YouTube channel, with 20,000+ subscribers and new videos six days a week.

I started Mark Savant Media in 2019 and launched AI Update in 2023.

I've spoken on AI and growth at events like Podfest Multimedia Expo's A.I. & Growth Summit (2026).

I'm a husband and a father of two, based in Florida.
